Welcome to Vintage Visage and our new blog. Here at Vintage Visage we have a passion for all vintage and antique crafts, fashion and making of all eras- from the Victorian era to the present day. Our intention is to blog about our journey to resource and republish all types of vintage and antique patterns for all types of needlecrafts. We will feature the usual crafts such as knitting, crochet, sewing and embroidery, and will also look at more niche and unusual crafts such as lace making (including varieties such as point lace, bobbin lace etc),wax modelling, papercrafts, netting, stencilling, feltmaking, montmellick work and so many more too numerous to mention.....we will feature fashion and homedecor items so please check and click our categories to easily find your favourite parts....
We are still in the early stages of setting up articles and pages so please do stay with us whilst we build up the blog so that it can be a great archive of vintage and antique crafting. Our mission is to inspire you and to get you making lots of interesting and unique items. Some of you may only make for yourselves, some for reenactments of different eras, some of you may be wanting to make items to sell too, which of course we encourage.
