Welcome to the world of Vintage Visage and therefore vintage and vintage inspired patterns. We are a product of 3 generations of textile and needlecraft enthusiasts and specialists who have collected a huge range of needlecraft patterns- sewing, knitting, crochet, embroidery and many rare techniques- from the mid 19th century to the 1970s.
We are now republishing some of those patterns for your delight and to inspire your creativity and each week the store will have more patterns added. If you are looking for anything specific please do get in touch as we are happy to see if we have it in our extensive archive not yet listed.
We are new to blogging so please follow us on our journey as we source and reformat old patterns and bear with us at first if we are a little slow with hyperlinking...we are learning fast and so soon should be able to link you up quickly with the items we are talking about.
Our website is the main place for all of our patterns, yarns, eboks and supplies- this is where you will find the best prices for our goods and be able to download most patterns after purchasing thus cutting out postage costs too. In the UK, it can cost over £3 to send a pattern abroad so it really does save you money to use the website-
We also have shops on Ebay, Etsy, Craftsy and lots of boards on Pinterest- all under the Vintage Visage name but sometimes with add ons- eg on Ebay we are vintagevisageonthebay, and on Etsy we are vintagevisageonetsy
We hope that you will use our patterns not only to make the designs shown, but also to use them as a springboard for your own designs. Our mission is to give you the ideas and skills and information that you need to get you started so that you will be able to add your own unique style to the designs. Many of our customers make for themselves and their family but a growing number are looking to make items to sell. In the present economic climate it makes sense to take a skill that you have and enjoy and make some money from it. Craft fairs, gift shops, baby showers are all places where unique designs are needed to fill the shelves and sell to the public. Vintage Visage patterns can give you the inspiration to make that start.
Let us know what you are making from our patterns- send in some photos and we can feature them on our facebook page.
