We found such a pretty vintage wedding dress knitting pattern - theres no doubt from the picture who is was inspired by and we think its quite a rare pattern as we haven't come across it before in our searches......
Its made with a very pretty lace stitch and front ruffle detail. Its made with 4 ply yarn and so does not too long to make even though it uses 40-50 balls of 25g yarn!........Add beads, crystals, sequins, ribbons etc and you have a very pretty wedding dress. Its on our ebay site at the moment so heres the link to it , which is a printed copy sent via post. It will be on the website soon as a downloadable pdf so we will post that link here too asap
Wow, the first time i saw the knitting wedding dress!very special and impressive, it make me think of Princess Dianna.

Hi Rosemarry- thank you for finding us and commenting- yes- its so pretty and the model and the pose are very Princess Diana like aren't they, so I guess we must date it at very close to 1981....she was very much a fashion icon, wasn't she.
